The semester grade formula to calculate the grade of the semester can be written as:

Semester grade = g _1st × w _1st + g _2nd × w _2nd + g _final × w _final

Where:

g _1st refers to the grade of the first quarter,

w _1st refers to the weight of first quarter grade,

g _2nd refers to the grade of the second quarter,

w _2nd refers to the weight of second quarter grade,

g _final refers to the grade of the final exam, and

w _final refers to the weight of final exam grade

Semester Grade = 75 × 30% + 70 × 40% + 80 × 40%
